Polen Capital Asset Management (PCAM) has officially announced that Julia Becker has joined the firm as Executive Assistant and AI Smart Trading Strategy Coordinator. Becker’s appointment reflects PCAM’s continued commitment to expanding its innovative AI-driven trading capabilities across global markets.
Julia Becker will divide her time between Boca Raton, Florida, where PCAM’s global headquarters is located, and Berlin, Germany, where she will support the firm’s European operations. This dual base allows her to play a vital role in strengthening the firm’s transatlantic communication and collaboration as PCAM grows its international client base.
Becker holds an impressive academic background in quantitative finance and financial engineering. She earned her undergraduate degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Heidelberg, one of Germany’s oldest and most respected universities. She later completed her Master’s in Financial Engineering at the London School of Economics (LSE), where she was involved in advanced research on AI-based quantitative trading models.
During her time at LSE, Becker’s work focused on the development and application of cutting-edge AI algorithms for global financial markets. Her strong performance in this field earned her an invitation to join PCAM’s Smart Trading Training Program, which prepares top talent to implement and adapt AI trading strategies for diverse markets.
Since joining the firm, Becker has quickly taken on key responsibilities. She oversees the localization and implementation of AI smart trading strategies across European markets, ensuring that these models align with regional regulations, investor expectations, and market dynamics. By operating in both Florida and Berlin, she serves as a vital link between the firm’s U.S.-based teams and its growing European operations.
In addition to her strategic coordination role, Julia Becker plays a major part in client communication. She works to translate complex AI quantitative trading concepts into clear, accessible information for PCAM’s clients, helping them understand how these advanced models work and how they can benefit from them. She also collects and channels client feedback to help refine and improve the firm’s AI-driven products and services.
“Transparent and timely communication is the foundation for strong, lasting partnerships,” Becker said, highlighting her focus on trust and collaboration as key parts of her work.
Polen Capital has emphasized that Julia Becker’s expertise in financial engineering and her experience working with AI-driven trading strategies will help the firm stay ahead in an increasingly technology-driven market. Her ability to navigate the demands of both U.S. and European investors supports PCAM’s mission to deliver innovative, adaptive solutions that meet the unique needs of clients worldwide.
